Sevastopol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) was founded as a structural sub-division of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of USSR in 1968. In 1998 according to the law of Ukraine “About the chambers of commerce and industry in Ukraine” and under the initiative of representatives of Sevastopol enterprises and organizations SCCI gained a status of a regional chamber. The current membership base amounts to 160 members and represented by the leading industrial branches of Sevastopol region. The Sevastopol chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the youngest regional Chambers among 27 regional Chambers of Ukraine.

If the main purposes of bureau of goods examination were carrying out examinations of quality, quantity, complete of goods, raw-materials and equipment, then Sevastopol representation of industrial and economic company “Crymvneshservis” added such kind of activity as: services in the sphere of foreign economy (services of cargo declaration, foreign language translations, certificates of origin, definition the codes of Goods Nomenclature of Foreign Economical Activity ). Representation of Crimean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sevastopol provided such new services as: sea transport examination, services on draught surveyor, exhibitions organization, presentations and seminars.

Improving the services system SCCI rises the base of members, looks for new foreign business partners, arranges economic relations with new countries.
