Description
Multiple Sclerosis is the most common non-traumatic, disabling neurological disease of young adults. Recent scientific advances have produced new therapies that are able to alter the long term course of this disease and continued research will one day lead to a cure for this potentially devastating illness. Improved technologies allow for more accurate and early diagnosis.
The Stomp Out MS Foundation was organized in early 2004 to raise funds for medical research, patient and provider education, public awareness and support services in order to enhance the lives of Louisianians living with Multiple Sclerosis.
It is the hope of the Foundation Board of Directors and Planning Committee Members that events and awareness developed through their efforts will provide a portion of the much needed funding for Multiple Sclerosis research and services in our region.
