- “As an artist, my interest is in using oils on canvas to organize and compose the dynamics of everyday life. I apply vibrant colors, spontaneous energetic strokes, all over patterns, and spatial flatness to combine and enliven figures caught in a moment in time. A variety of commonly recognizable characters and objects move the eye through the picture plane as a narrative unfolds. I work to express a feeling of an underlying continuum of joy amidst a transient pattern of ordinary daily chaos.”
