Star Trek : Infinity is a Play By Email Roleplaying Game (or PBEM RPG for short) set in the late 24th century onboard the Nova-class USS Horizon and Intrepid-class USS Relentless.

2380 is a precarious age; Three years after the return of the USS Voyager and with no major conflicts since the end of the Dominion War at a glance the universe seems to be cooperating and working within agreed peace treaties and trade agreements. There is, however, a restless underbelly that could threaten the hard won harmony. Philosophers have always said that any utopia was the work of fiction as one man's paradise is another man's hell.
Starfleet, undaunted by the undercurrents in the galaxy or perhaps because of them, is continuing its role of scientific exploration, expanding its borders and voyaging once more into the unknown. The USS Relentless and the USS Horizon are spearheading the new exploration, making allies (and enemies) as they go.
Acting as a 'First Contact' and 'Deep Space Explorer' vessel, exploring new planets and civilizations and away from Starbases for extended periods, the crew of the USS Horizon is made up of some of Starfleet's most finest personnel, returning to the principles of the Federation - to seek out new life and new civilisations. The USS Horizon itself has undergone numerous offensive, defensive and scientific modifications to enable it to perform better in a standalone role.
The USS Relentless has been outfitted with a Progenitor device recovered from System 814a, enabling the ship to traverse between universes, whilst simultaneously adding a spark of sentience to the ship herself. Exploring different universes, the crew of the Relentless (and 'Relly' herself) plan to return back to our home universe between missions. But the physics behind inter-universal travel is a fledgling science, and things don't always go to plan...

- When we started ST-Infinity we had hundreds of ideas and lots of creative enthusiasm (as I hope is reflected in our website). It has been a fantastic adventure as we have expanded our game with talented and imaginative writers. The diverse and inspired storylines make a fantastic read and I find myself challenged to keep up with the high standard of posts.
