Spydernation started off as a place for the owner of a Toyota MR2 Spyder to post pictures of his car and car related events. As time went by, it turned into the home of a forum that was made up of outcasts from the Toyota Spyder online community and some particularly troublesome Miata owners. Eventually these loathsome folks offended their webhost and were cast out, whereupon one of the head troublemakers took it upon himself to learn a bit of php and the Home of Freaks Twice Removed was born.
From one host to another, through url changes, software crashes and pissing contests between members, the board continues to survive and continues to serve its purpose as a home for wayward roadster drivers, even if they drive a Buick (inside joke).

It is worth repeating that no lamers may pass the portals of the nation of the spyderpeople. Their borders are well guarded by those with lidless eyes upon whom no spell of sleep may be cast. You of mediocrity and seekers of the therapy need not look this way and wonder, for truly, there is nothing for you here, save the cold certain desolation of the withering of that which passes for your soul. Like the small tiny turds of a luckless beast, I will forever keep you trapped in a mason jar, labeled, and stored upon a shelf, in a basement that is both musty and damp. Your company throughout eternity shall be cobwebs and darkness.
