Past
In 1998, whilst living in Perth in Australia, a friend of mine, Cameron Evans, suggested that I go with him to the Leederville Theatre to watch a film called Koyaanisqatsi. I was intrigued by Cameron's description of the film, but knew nothing of what to expect.
Whilst watching the long opening scene of the film, which is of the burning base of a space rocket during take off, I was not sure whether this was my kind of film. However, as the film continued, evolving into the many scenes that make the film so powerful, I became sucked into the film.
