- Spencer Rifle company is located in Portland Tennessee. They manufacture, repair, refinish, case harden,do sight work on 1911's, all cuts and feature a 7 day turnaround; and build complete weapons from big chunks of steel. They have a Class 2 Manufacturers,and a Class 3 Repair License, and of course a test range on site. Bob and Harry take a great deal of pride in their manufacturing and repair of firearms. They also assemble Class III firearms from your kits. If it is old, rusty and used to shoot, or if it only needs a little tuning up best chance is these 2 have something in stock to make it pretty and run correctly. Their phone hours are 6-9 pm cst. they are in the shop all day but it is difficult to hear over the machinery. If they don't answer please leave a message, they will get back with you.
