This website was set up in February 2000 and its purpose was to help publicise Southwater Action Group (SAG). SAG was formed in October 1999 by a group of local residents determined to fight proposals to build 2300 houses on green fields in Southwater.

The website is maintained by ex-Southwater village residents, Paul and Sandra Johnson, now living in Brisbane, Australia. The website hosting is generously supported by Southwater Parish Council. The website is maintained by Paul and Sandra, who have family and friends in Southwater. They enjoy being part of the Southwater Village community from DownUnder.
