Description
Project Control System (PCS) is a Document Control System developed by SouthSoft. The application keeps track of documents, drawings and manuals as well as correspondence related to each project and sub project. PCS will provide document planning for Wbs packages related to each project and additionally display these calculations in a Gantt diagram. Each document, drawing and manual record can be linked to AutoCAD drawings, MS Word documents, MS Excel spreadsheets or Acrobat PDF files, which may be viewed directly from PCS. In addition you may scan or incorporate any number of images and link them to each document, drawing or manual record. Each record may be linked to other databases within PCS. PCS provides you with functions for generating transmittals for delivery, and register incoming transmittals. The system gives the controller an overview of planned and actual dates for delivering document to clients and suppliers, and dates for received documents and drawings, and an overview of correspondence related to each project.
