We aim to present the best new work in the form of intelligent, challenging and entertaining theatre, together with comedy and cabaret, which engages with the broadest range of audiences.
We discover and nurture new writers from the broadest backgrounds. We do this through a wide range of Writers' Centre activities, aimed at developing writers to work in theatre as well as film, TV and radio; and through our education work, aimed at encouraging people to write for performance and to connect with theatre as an art form.
