We’re a product of our environment! Soccer’s been in our blood for more than 40 years. About 10 years ago, during an era dedicated to coaching soccer, the advantages of small-sided play became apparent and necessary: increasing player numbers coupled with diminishing space availability. Legitimate, affordable, portable goals were not within reach and most anything you’d buy from a store that was less than an 8’x24’ was JUNK! And if your intentions included rough, adult play, you might as well forget about buying a small goal suited small-sided games.
So began our adventure, our many experiments, hundreds of prototypes, and a non-stop effort to identify appropriate materials that could be crafted into viable, long-lasting soccer goals. And because these goals would have to be moved from field to field throughout the city, the primary considerations became clear: sized to fit inside any car’s trunk; easy and quick to assemble/disassemble; light weight; enduring.
