Description
Born in Lebanon, Dr Shamma came to the USA in 1981. He completed his General Surgery residency at Syracuse University in 1986, followed by a rigorous Vascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa. He was then appointed as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University. In 1990, Dr. Shamma moved to Melbourne and established the premier Vascular practice of Brevard county. He has, throughout his career, received additional training in modern vascular techniques.
He is board-certified and has been awarded the certificate of added qualifications in Vascular Surgery He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
