The company was founded by former Navy Commander Scott Barnes upon his retirement from 21 years active duty in the United States Navy. A decorated combat veteran and Naval Aviator, Scott primarily flew the A-7E Corsair and The FA-18 Hornet completing five deployments and three instructor pilot tours in the FA-18, T-2 Buckeye, and T-39 Sabreliner. He flew combat missions in multiple theaters from the 1980s to 2003 and spent three years in counter-narcotics operations with FBI, DEA, CIA, and US Customs agents in the South/Central American Theater of Operations.
