- About Me
- My name is Denise. I’m 20-years-old. I was born, and still currently reside, in Toronto, Canada. My ethnic background is Chinese. I am a third year student in the Graphic Communications Management program at Ryerson University. I am a Liberal, an atheist, a grammar freak, and a carnivore. My addictions include Sudoku, cigarettes, television DVD boxsets, and buying jeans. I learned English before Cantonese, how to use chopsticks before a fork, and how to write in cursive before printing. Yes, I’m straight, and yes, I’m taken. Like most upper-middle class suburban kids, I can’t live without my car, my iPod, or my cell phone. In my case, I also can’t live without mascara and a good pair of Vans Slip-Ons. I am somewhat spoiled, but I don’t act it. (I’ve asked.) I prefer cold weather to hot, Macs to PCs, Coca Cola to Pepsi, getting high to getting drunk, sneakers to heels, and talking in person to talking online. I am not an indie kid, a scene kid, a punk, or any other kind of music-related stereotype. I know what I like, and I like what I know. I dislike children, clowns, manual cars, liars, taking the bus, and anything country-related (music, people, et cetera). I’m a relatively nice person, but I don’t take bullshit.
