Taxi 2000 is a standard-form stock corporation organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota. It currently has a seven-member Board of Directors. Ownership of the company resides with its stockholders. The company was organized to exploit a series of patents on PRT technology that had been developed by Dr. Anderson and his colleagues, and were owned by the University of Minnesota. The University later assigned those patents to Taxi 2000 Corporation in exchange for royalties on future Taxi 2000 system deployments.
Taxi 2000 offers two products. The SkyWeb Express system is a revolutionary means for moving people and goods so cost-effective that it can be built and operated as a profitable private business. Its cost-effectiveness results from a combination of excellent service and low cost.
Our Shuttle 21 system is a modified version of SkyWeb Express that is suitable for clients looking for short-distance circulation. Around stadiums, amusement parks and destination resorts, clients can be assured of the finest quality service for their guests.
