- I graduated from the University of San Diego, where I majored in Political Science and minored in American History. What ultimately helped me choose San Diego was the recently opened Institute for Peace and Justice, which was funded in large part by Joan B. Kroc. The institute does work in the areas which I am most interested in, and have gotten a chance to study a wide range of topics within my major. My areas of concentration were international relations and urban politics. Much of my research at school focused on the role of Intergovernmental Organizations in national and local issues. I am very interested in local policy and urban development strategies. I currently work for the San Diego State Research Foundation, where I do intensive case management for youth.
