Benefits of SkierGuard Insurance
SkierGuard offers insurance for your ski pass at the cost of only 6% of the price of your pass for anyone under 71. Should you not be able to ski at the specific resort(s) for a consecutive period of 30 days due to a covered injury or illness this insurance protects you and covers temporary or permanent loss of pass use. It does not matter where the injury or sickness occurs – you are covered worldwide for Loss of Pass Use and also for the other benefits at the resort(s) where your pass is valid.
Your coverage starts from the date you buy a season pass or your purchase date of the coverage (whichever is later) until the season ends. The policy is available to anyone anyone who lives in the USA except residents of New York and Washington state.
