Its flagship product, KUBRIX®, is a software application that serves the five billion dollar MCAE software and services market, and is used by design engineers in major automotive, automotive equipment, biomedical, metal manufacturing, electronics and research organizations worldwide.
KUBRIX® has been hailed by leading automotive industry experts as the most significant advancement in mechanical design automation since the advent of parametric technology for computer-aided design in the late eighties. Based on a proprietary software technology and using fuzzy logic analysis, KUBRIX® shaves over 80% off the cost of MCAE by completely automating its most human-intensive and costly component known as mesh generation. Without KUBRIX®, hexahedral mesh generation is a painstaking operation that involves intensive and repetitive visual interaction between a skilled specialist and an engineering workstation, over periods ranging from several hours, for simple mechanical parts, up to weeks or months for complex parts such as automotive engine blocks, or complex biomedical devices. With KUBRIX®, this task is essentially reduced to minutes of computation on a computer.
Based on industry standards, KUBRIX® is designed to work independently or within other MCAE software, and be transparent to well established MCAE work flows. Because It takes full advantage of the Internet, KUBRIX® can be distributed and automatically supported over this medium. Consequently, KUBRIX’s cost of trial testing, installation, update and maintenance is minimal. Finally, the product’s design takes full advantage of the breadth of computing platforms used by design engineers, from supercomputers to engineering workstations and PC’s.
