Santa Barbara, CA, April 3, 2006 - Impulse Internet Services ("IIS") and NetLojix Communications, Inc. ("NetLojix") announced today the completion of a transaction merging NetLojix's Internet and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) Services subsidiary (including Silicon Beach and WestNet) and IIS into a new entity, Impulse Internet Services, LLC ("Impulse").
"Since we started our respective businesses more than ten years ago, both of our organizations have worked diligently to maintain an exceptional focus on service quality," said Tony Papa, CEO and co-founder of NetLojix. "The landscape of business communications has changed and this merger provides our team with a tremendous growth platform in the evolving market. The advent of VoIP, especially in a hosted PBX environment, has enabled us to service 100% of the voice and data needs of our customers while aggressively expanding our customer base." Tony Papa will serve as CEO of Impulse.

"Our companies complement each other extremely well, and I'm looking forward to working with the NetLojix team." Ken Alker will serve as Chief Technology Officer of Impulse.
