Mr. Robert Landau, I Content's CEO has spent over twenty years in the shoe industry. Mr. Landau founded Shoes On The Net in 1995 and has over that frame of time positioned Shoes On The Net as the preeminent shoe site on the Internet. Mr. Landau's other achievements include the establishment of the Oprah Winfrey Angel Network Shoe Drive which has distributed over 115,000 pairs of footwear to those less fortunate. Mr. Landau also served as a founding member of The Standard's Board of E-commerce Standards with such luminaries as Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com and Steve Case of AOL.com.
Mr. David Murphy, I Content’s President, has also spent his entire twenty-five year plus career in the shoe industry. Mr. Murphy has served as President of large divisions of two major footwear companies; Morse Shoe’s Fayva Division and Stride Rite’s Sperry Topsider Division. Earlier in his career he had been Corporate Vice President of Marketing for Morse Shoe Inc. and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Lowell Shoe, the nation’s leading brand of professional duty footwear. Mr. Murphy’s exposure to the footwear industry began with Arnold Advertising where he worked on footwear accounts, including Dexter, Fayva and Lowell Shoe, the latter hiring Mr. Murphy into his first full time position in industry. Since 1993 he has worked as a consultant to many well-recognized U.S. and international footwear brands including Sebago, Ecco USA, Sam & Libby, Kodiak and Santana. In addition, he has been a Director for almost twenty years of the Two/Ten International Footwear Foundation, the leading industry philanthropic organization. He has also served as Chairman of the Two/Ten Foundation’s Public Awareness Committee, as well as its scholarship committee. In 1997 he received the organization’s highest award, the A. A. Bloom award, given annually to the individual contributing most significantly to this 14,000 member organization.
Mr. Daniel Balkin, I Content’s Chief Operating Officer, since graduating from MIT’s Sloan School of Management in 1987 with concentrations in Marketing and Corporate Strategy has served in marketing and business development roles for several companies including stints in director level positions. Mr. Balkin’s in depth expertise lies in the area of direct response and knowledge-based marketing. He also has advertising agency experience, having served as Managing Director of a database marketing company that was a part of a major UK direct marketing agency.
