About
We like to call the barn "our century barn" as it was begun in 1999 and finsihed in 2000. Built by Alan, Timothy and brother-in-law, Gordon, it houses the sheep and goats. There are stalls for the rams and ewes and ewe with lambs. It is here in the Spring, people get to watch the shearer shear the sheep at our annual Clothe Faire.
Shepherdwoods Farm is mainly a mail order business. In our on line catalog you will find many pictures of the items we carry. If you want you can email us for a brochure or you can order online. We also do Fiber shows all around the Midwest. A schedule of the shows is on our Fiber Show and Sale Page.
Our Shetland Sheep are registered with the North American Shetland Sheepbreeders Association (NASSA) and we are also members of the Midwest Shetland Sheep Breeders Association (MSSBA). I invite you to check out both websites for these organizations on our Links Page.
