Until recently Googling for International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) resulted in www.iho.shom.fr/ a web address that many of us had difficulties remembering. Though we all appreciated the courtesy of French Hydrographic Office that hosted the IHO website for many years, it seemed to be odd that the IHO could not be reached under its own .org address as everyone would naturally expect.
