Description
The original site was a basement shop about one block from our current Corporate Offices and main store at 196 Washington Street.
In the early years, John, the father of two sons and three daughters, cut and installed glass in homes and automobiles, such as the classic model "T" Ford. He also sold a variety of auto parts needed to keep these early chariots running.
Before he died in 1929, John had expanded his business to include commercial replacements and small glazing contracts. He had a crew of four glaziers.
