Title

Seminars - AMA, National, Skillpath, Linkage, Cornell, Fred Pryor - from Seminar Information Service

Description

In 1981, Catherine Bellizzi and Mona Piontkowski founded Seminar Information Service, Inc. (SIS). Their idea was to fill a void - thousands of seminars were taking place, but there wasn't any one central source to tell someone where and when they were being held.

To solve the problem, they created the SIS WORKBOOK, a comprehensive guide to business and technical seminars worldwide. The original directory, in a three-ring binder, included titles, descriptions, fees, who should attend and the seminar sponsors along with cities and dates for the seminars included.

From the very first day, seminar sponsors included most major seminar organizations, such as American Management Association, Fred Pryor Seminars, and Skillpath.
