- SecureTest was founded in July 2002 by the current directors, Ken Munro and Rob Pope. Both had previously worked for the Danish security testing organisation, Vigilante, founded in 1997. As Vigilante contracted at the end of the 'dot com boom', Ken & Rob saw a clear opportunity to bring manual penetration testing services to the UK market.
