History and Growth of Seascape Resort
Seascape Resort was established in Destin when it was a sleepy little fishing town and it has stayed true to its roots as a laid back, luxury destination. Golf Course
Consisting of 18 lush contoured fairways, the Seascape golf course winds through the Resort's lush forests and around its lakes. The course is situated among a series of fresh water and coastal dune lakes and features amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico from many holes. Fifteen of the eighteen holes have water features. Designed by famed course architect Joe Lee, Seascape's par 71, 6,100-yard championship course poses a unique challenge to players of every skill level as its green placement and hazards require singular precision to maneuver the course. Just two miles from Seascape is the award-winning Emerald Bay Golf Club. Designed by prestigious architect Bob Cupp, former chief designer for Jack Nicklaus, this 18-hole championship course is one of Florida's best golf Courses.

An elevated walkway over Scenic Highway 98 provides a safe avenue from the resort to the Whale's Tail and the beach. The menu features fresh seafood and includes a variety of options including burgers, sandwiches and salads. The downstairs bar is only steps away from the beach and is famous for its frozen tropical drinks. The Whale's Tail Gift Shop offers apparel and souvenirs as well as delicious soft-serve ice cream.
