Description
The Saskatoon Employment Access Resource Centre for Human Services (SEARCHs) is a partnership of community-based organizations, supported by Human Resources Social Development (HRSD) and Saskatchewan Department of Community Resources and Employment. The centre targets employment development for persons with a disability by addressing identified gaps in service delivery and by providing innovative marketing strategies to the local business community.
Serving Saskatoon and district, SEARCHs Inc. utilizes the existing resources of agencies, government, educational institutions, and private enterprise to generate accessible and accommodated employment opportunities.
Employers will realize benefits from working collaboratively with the SEARCHs Team by gaining access to a unique source of potential employees. The SEARCHs Resource Centre houses information on job accommodation, access and employability of workers with disabilities. Resources available include labour market information and job search support for work seekers with a disability.
