After hours of tiring search engines, following links, finding dead ends, and occasionally finding just what I was looking for, I thought: "There must be a better way." Then by chance (or perhaps providential leading), I came across a sight that was not related to industry, but fishing. This sight was part of what is referred to as a web ring. (For more information on web rings click here.) The thought immediately hit me that what industry needs is one source for all the information out on the web. Thus was born the Manufacturing and Industrial Resource Center (MIRC).
SearchManufacturing.com is the "next generation" of MIRC. It has no competition. Even if another site has a lot of the same resources, it is still not a competitor. We work to complement similar sites, and will add them to our lists immediately. The important thing is to make manufacturing information available.
