Being a diabetic himself, Dr. Smith specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic eye diseases. He brings a special aspect to this portion of his practice and is comfortable discussing any aspect of diabetes.
Dr. Smith lives in the relaxed rural community of Alva with his wife Cyndi and 3 daughters Meghan, Kelsey, and Carissa. Having three daughters allows Dr. Smith the patience to provide a unique understanding to his pediatric patients.
