PADI Master Instructor Monte Lee Thornton, a 25 year member the Professional Association of Diving Instructors is also an Underwater Photographer, Underwater Videographer, and Web Designer, Programmer, and Marketer.

Monte Thornton is a marine naturalist who began his Underwater Photographer experience by capturing on film Humpback whales and sharks during their feeding times. He has made 16 environmental research photography trips to the Cayman Islands, and has published photos in textbooks, magazines, newspapers and Internet publications. His photography expertise spans from the underwater world of the Red Sea to Middle Eastern archaeological compositions. He has taken underwater photos and video of the Cayman Islands, which shows interesting scuba diving sights and the marine life found among the reefs. In Belize he has recorded remote islands' wildlife, marine life and the rainforest to promote diving and adventure travel.

For the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Broadcasting he worked as a technician/camera operator, at the aquatic center for the 14 special effect, underwater cameras. In 1998 he updated daily news online for a CBS affiliate in Houston and maintained online broadcast imagery. Other assignments have included photo journalism for special events such as the Westheimer Festival, and designing and maintaining its web page. He currently maintains 120 corporate web sites for content, graphics and photography of their products.
