Scanscot Technology was founded in 1992 and has from the beginning been based upon two main activities; consulting within civil, structural and mechanical engineering and development of analysis software products. These two activities have in common, advanced structural analyses using FEA.
Scanscot Technology develops, markets and supports BRIGADE, a complete analysis software suite for the field of structural and civil engineering. BRIGADE consists of three powerful analysis tools: BRIGADE/Standard, BRIGADE/Plus and BRIGADE/Hacon.
The consultancy service covers many industrial sectors, including civil, mechanical and nuclear power engineering. Scanscot Technology specializes in technically advanced projects often related to accident and extreme loading events, such as earthquakes, pipe ruptures, explosions and impacts.
