Description
The Santa Barbara Fiber Arts Guild meets on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30 until 12 p.m. at the SHIFCO center located at 418 Santa Fe Place, Santa Barbara. Members bring refreshments and socialize before enjoying a short business meeting followed by a program related to fiber arts. Frequent workshops and field trips are offered. Our group has a membership of approximately 110 active in a variety of fiber arts. Programs and workshop topics may include weaving, spinning, knitting, basketry, paper making, dyeing, felting, silk printing, sewing, and many additional fiber arts subjects.
This guild shall be a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of its members in the development and appreciation of all fiber arts.
