Salford Software was formed in 1988 to exploit the talents of the team that had been writing and supporting commercially successful compilers during the previous decade.
We were one of the first organisations to see the potential of the PC Platform and to develop technologies unparalleled within the compiler market. Our compiler and development products are used extensively world-wide.
Salford University Network Services
Salford University Network Services, commonly known as SUNS, was formed in 1991. Based within the University of Salford, Computer Centre, SUNS provided front line technical support to academic organisations for Novell NetWare, and offered UK academic sites a unique Novell NetWare site license agreement.
