Sagarmatha is the Nepali name for the highest mountain in the world known as Mt Everest. "Sagarmatha" means "the summit over the sky". Eight out of the worlds fourteen highest mountains are part of the Himalayan Range in the northern part of Nepal.
Many South Australians have visited Nepal to trek the Himalayas and experience the unique beauty of the only Hindu Kingdom in the world.
Nepali restaurants have been established in other states for some time. Now, South Australians will be able to enjoy the flavours of Nepal here at home.
