More than ten years after the launching of the war (Since October 1st, 1990), and over seven years in power since July 1994, the self-proclaimed regime of the Rwandese Patriotic Front (sic) - the RPF - has proved incapable to manage, to reconcile, to provide security and to rebuild our country, Rwanda.
The country's democratization process is made impossible by the de facto ban on political parties, which have no right to carry out political activities under the pretext of jeopardizing national unity and reconciliation, which does not exist.
The policy of privatization has been transformed into deceitful maneuvers of pillaging state owned property at the advantage of RPF bosses and their cronies. Corruption has been institutionalized; national wealth is being channeled to serve warmongering; the population is being harassed constantly; the dynamics of regional integration have been halted, and in short, all practices of sheer bad governance are now serious impediments to the political stability and economic recovery of the country.
