The Revised Standard Version (RSV) Quartet has become one of the most popular gospel quartets on the West Coast. Organized in 1984, the quartet was a part of the music ministry of the Olive Knolls Church of the Nazarene where its manager, Jim Reed, was the Minister of Music. For the next thirteen years the group was a vital part of the church's weekly music program. In the fall of 1997, the direction of the ministry of RSV made a major change.
