Rodd Ambroson's status as an accomplished artist derives from his ability to capture human anatomy and physiology in uncompromising accurate detail. Growing up in a medical family, his father and brother both physicians, he decided to combine two loves: art and medicine. After obtaining his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Oregon State University in 1980, he went on to obtain a Master of Fine Arts in bio-medical communications from the Texas Health Science Center in 1985.
