We are Dealers in minerals rocks fossils quartz amethyst geodes crystals beads precious & semi-precious gems, stones & handcrafted jewelry & pendants. The Rock and Gem Store is a Sole Proprietor-owned Wholesale Outlet. Rock and Gem Store, owned by Ron & Sue Schoonover of Andover, opened in 1993. Since that time, the store has increased its inventory tremendously, while also opening another rock and gem store. Both stores carry a wide variety of products, including minerals geodes quartz fossils and amethyst. Also available are beads, various pendants and handcrafted jewelry as well as semi precious gems. We have auctions on EBay from time to time so also look for us there too for some great deals.
Both our stores are located just minutes away from the world famous Franklin Mineral Mines, which unfortunately are now closed. During its mining operations over 300 hundred different varieties of minerals were excavated from it's mines. Due to our proximity to the mines, we were able to obtain a variety of minerals. Having just gone online, we will continue to expand our inventory to our Internet store. If you happen to be in the northern N.J. area, please stop by one or both of our stores.
