Tina's experience in growing research and improving infrastructure encompasses many industries including biotechnology, healthcare, and higher education. At M Ship Co., LLC, Tina was a key player in securing Department of Defense (DoD) funding and developing infrastructure processes and strategies to maintain contract management. At Advanced Tissue Sciences, she was a key player in planning and developing research initiatives and contributed to the successful growth of sponsored research through securing federal grants. At the University of California, San Diego, and Children's Hospital, Tina managed research grants and assisted principal investigators with proposal development, federal compliance/guidelines, and fiscal/technical reporting. In addition, Tina continues to help several San Diego defense and biotechnology firms expand their product pipeline by securing grants for innovative technologies.
Tina brings expertise in the development and funding of emergent technologies. At R&D Business Solutions, Tina specializes in business development and helps technology-based firms raise seed capital through grants. Additionally, Tina conducts technology assessments of new ventures, performs business plan analysis, and holds planning sessions in preparation for funding new business ventures.
