Description
I have been a commercial and fine art photographer for over 17 years. After graduating from college, I was hired as a staff photographer for Superstock, a photo stock agency. I worked with Superstock for several years shooting both advertising and editorial assignments as well as stock.
In 1994 I opened my own business. My shooting experience ranges from advertising shoots on a Colorado peak at 14,000 feet in a blizzard to aerial photography of New York City aboard the Fuji blimp to placid pinhole images of the Washington Monument at sunrise. I can’t say that I’ve done it all, but I’m working on it.
I also work as a freelance graphic designer and art director on many campaigns for a variety of advertising and marcom agencies. My experience in this field allows me a view beyond the purely photographic needs of a project to see the bigger picture and to apply that view to creating photographs that communicate the requisite message.
