OSO is gone. Sorry. We loved it, too. They had listings and events calendars. They were the place to go on the internet to find out what was going on in Rhode Island.
If you didn't know, OSO was a website sponsored by Cox communications. They wanted a website all about Rhode Island to make their cable modem service more desireable to Ocean State residents. Sadly, it was financed by the corporate office, not the local office -- there was no commitment to maintain Ocean State Online long-term.
The Warwick, RI office still owns the OSO.com domain name, but it routes it to the Rhode Island Cox Communications website rather than to the old OSO site that we all loved.
