Description
Reptiles Down Under is designed and maintained primarily by Stewart Macdonald and Matthew O'Brien, with numerous other contributors. We created the site so that there would be at least one site on the Internet that contained good-quality information about Australian Herpetology.
Stewart was a computer guy who left the IT world because he's pretty sure the industry is "just a phase". He's now planning on getting a real job as a scientist. Or a Human Torch. He lives with his numerous reptiles, and sleeps on the floor under his desk due to reptile enclosures taking up the rest of the house.
Matthew is a frustrated Masters student working on beachworms, who designs web pages in his spare time. He is married, with two and a half pythons, two rats and an empty enclosure for some much needed dragons.
