Initially set up as a small hobby website in 1999, Rentamatic has grown organically to become the largest dedicated rental portal in the UK. This is no mean feat considering the competition and the resources at their disposal!
Relying completely on word of mouth for the first few years Rentamatic grew from a handful of visitors every week to some 20,000, then 50,000, then 100,000 and we now regulary get over 150,000 unique visitors to our site every week, all looking for properties to rent in the UK. (that's more than half a million targeted visitors every month!)
Let's be honest, (and our older users will vouch for this), our site started off badly designed, slow, cranky, and used to fall over quicker than a.... I'm sure you get the picture! and the only reason people kept coming back was because when Rentamatic worked, it worked well, and of course, we've constantly been making small improvements.
