Eh, you really want to read about me? Well, I'll keep it short: I'm Lisa, the crazy cat lady behind this site. Husband Mike (my college sweetheart, awww) and I are both lifelong cat lovers and the proud catparents to Grimalkin (girl) and boys Gandalf the Grey and Baelor the Blessed.
In my day job (cats must be fed), I work as a software technical writer with Lots Of Cool People. Previously, I wrote for a newspaper, did corporate advertising, media relations, and some database design/programming. I volunteer with a local, no-kill cat/dog rescue organization; support Alley Cat Allies; serve on my parish's web site committee; am a voracious reader; and I love coffee, sushi, running, and napping with the cats. (My motto: A Nap Makes Everything Better, As Does Coffee.)
I created Reigning Cats.net as a way to share my love for cats with other folks, and out of this grew the Crazy Cat Ladies Society & Gentlemen's Auxiliary, which I founded in April 2002. If you're sick 'n' tired of the "crazy cat lady" stereotype getting flung at anyone who expresses the teeniest bit of love for cats, check it out — out guys and gals are equally welcome and membership's free. (Hey, ya can't beat free!)
