Francis Redman left depression torn Missouri in 1934 to seek a brighter future in California. There he began his 27-year career with Southwestern Engineering as a “helper”, working his way up to the position of manager and eventually to vice president. In 1962 he left Southwestern Engineering and founded Redman Equipment & Mfg. Company as an answer to the petroleum industry’s need for a reliable, knowledgeable service provider.
