The word radix reflects our affiliation with Linux/Unix where the character "/" is commonly referred to as the root level of the filesystem. The word "root" is also synonymous with origin or source and the link here is with the open source movement of which Linux and GNU is part of.
Radix Systems is unique. Our management team has a total of 30 over collective years of experience in system support, technical support, technical education, information management, professional services and project management. Radix Systems recognises the advent of Linux and Open Source software has already changed the computing landscape. The Open Source phenomenon releases a new paradigm in that the good software is free for use. Into this mix of changes, we believe that services is the key factor that will enable the effective use of Open Source software on commodity computer hardware.
