Robert Prevost, Founder, President and CEO of IME Corp. is a veteran race car driver who has driven many different types of race cars over the years including Karts, GT Sportscars, Stockcars and modern day Formula One cars. He spent nearly a decade with the Skip Barber Racing School as their Director of Corporate Sales successfully developing the model for Motorsports based corporate entertainment programs that has been embraced today by just about every racing school in America.
Interactive Motorsports Entertainment Corp. d.b.a. Racingschools.com was launched officially on January 1, 1997, after an extensive analysis of the Motorsports industry. Among the various products and services we examined and analyzed within motorsports, several business sectors were identified as having remained underdeveloped and even un represented. Specifically, the rapid expansion of the auto racing school industry in particular, had created a need for a single company to provide racing school operators with outside consulting, sales and marketing services. It would also serve the general public with information and enrollment services through its massive website.
In late 1996, IME contacted every major racing school operator in America and proposed to act as their independent, authorized sales agent. Initially, IME served as the direct sales agent for three racing schools. Today, IME represents over 70 major driving schools in every discipline of auto racing. No other site or company on the Internet can claim this. Don't be fooled by copy cat companies.
