Description
Robert Zeichner's experience behind a camera spans over 40 years. From the time he was a teenager in his native New York working in his father's darkroom, Robert has been driven to image making of all sorts.
A graduate of the esteemed Pratt Institute, Robert has worked in graphic design, motion pictures and advertising, fields that have helped him develop the vision and craftsmanship so evident in his Fine Art Photographic work. "Making photographs is the one thing I can always remember doing, everywhere I've ever lived and no matter what else I was doing to earn a living. It's my passion in life."
Robert's work has been displayed in over 30 exhibitions over the last ten years, most of them one man shows. His technical writing has been published in Photo Techniques and View Camera magazines and he has lectured on the subject of large format photography and camera optics. His photographs have appeared in David Wilson's "Photographing Buildings" as well as The Photo Review. His work currently hangs in galleries in Michigan and Pennsylvania as well as in private and corporate collections in the US and abroad.
