About PSD: Our Mission
Progressive San Diego works to create a more equitable and sustainable society in the SD region by promoting progressive candidates and policies.
The SD region is home to many organizations and individuals working to promote progressive issues. Over the past few years, our progressive community has begun to actively collaborate efforts, resulting in the recent election of several progressive candidates to the SD City Council.
Formed in 2003, PSD is working to strengthen the coordinated efforts of progressive coalitions to deliver on the promise of creating a higher quality of life for all San Diegans. PSD’s near term goals are to:
