About PROSOC
Who we are: The Professional Social Network of Tucson (PROSOC) is an Arizona nonprofit corporation made up of young, active, civic-minded professionals who have a clear vision of enhancing the ability to network and socialize with other young professionals in the Tucson area.
Our Mission: Our mission is to link young professionals through social gatherings and business networks to meet like-minded professionals with whom you can build long-term social and business relationships. In addition, it is our goal to prevent bright young people from migrating to other urban areas, and to improve Tucson through community services.
The Foundation: In the fall of 2001, Josh Jacobsen, Jim Storey and Troy Ruboyianes recognized the need for young professional men and women to come together and take action in the city of Tucson, Arizona. Knowing that an organization that promoted and advanced business networking, social networking, and philanthropic activities was in need, PROSOC was incorporated in the spring of 2002.
